Rugby

Picture

The village does not have a Rugby club or pitch facilities, however if you are a rugby fan or parent of a potential junior player, do not despair.  There are many clubs locally and Queen Camel has a good record, in recent years having produced two highly successful junior players, who have competed at SW Counties and England Colleges  level.  The village is also home to an ex international player and a current member of the Somerset County Rugby committee.  If you would like further information on local Rugby, please call Alison Bennett on 850 004.

Details of established local clubs are shown below, all have mini, youth and senior teams.  Details are from the 2011-12 season County Handbooks, check latest info at www.rfu.com/clubs/

So go along to a local club and get involved.
