QC Football Club

Picture

Queen Camel FC

Thanks to the efforts of Chris Collier (team captain ) and Dan Clark (manager) the village now has a reformed football club.  The history of football in Queen Camel goes back before the first world war, but in 2004 the club folded.

The club re-formed in August 2011 at Queen Camel QC Playing Field, playing in the Yeovil Sunday morning League, the club has purchased new kit, in the traditional QC colours of blue and white vertical stripes and a number of match quality balls.

After winning two pre-season friendlies against Yeovil Pen mill (3-4) and The Beach (5-4), life in the league has proved rather tougher with only 2 further wins in the first half season.  If you are interested in joining as a player or would like to support the club in an organisational role (chairman, treasurer, secretary ) please contact either:

Chris    07784 808 430  or     Dan    07957 729 098
