Communications Group

In 2005 the people of Queen Camel, through their Parish Council, produced the Queen Camel Community Plan (known usually as 'the Parish Plan') in which they identified ways in which the parish could be improved. A number of groups of volunteers seek to bring about these improvements, and the Communications Group is one of these. The group believes that every community needs a good communication network because this is probably the greatest factor in building a closer community and, conversely, poor communication will result in the opposite.

A significant initiative in 2010 was the creation of a Welcome Pack. If you have recently moved into the parish (this includes Wales, Eyewell and Hazlegrove) and have not received a Welcome Pack, please contact either Priscilla Thring (01935 850104) or Rosemary Heath-Coleman (01935 850254) and they will be pleased to arrange a delivery to you.
