St Barnabas - The Clock and Bells
The clock was erected in 1887 as a memorial of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. The bells have the distinction of being the heaviest peal of six in the world. They were cast over a long period and date from about 1450 to the mid-19th century. They were re-hung in 1908 and have the distinction of being broadcast on Easter Day
